we have obtained with it are equally as good as Prices. One
of our reasons for using this oil in France was that we could
readily obtain it there. Wakefields oil is fairly well distrib-
uted throughout France. It can easily be obtained in the south
of France. It is also distributed in all the Colonies.

We should say that Wakefields oil comes next to
Vacuum as regards being widely distributed.

Prices Candle Co. who were the original owners of
Prices Oil, were bought up by the Lever Soap Combine. The oil
side of the business afterwards changed hands and is now
controlled by the Anglo Persian Co.

There was a period when we thought the quality of
the oil had deteriorated, but taking it all through we have
nothing to complain of with Prices oils except that customers
frequently cannot obtain them, and are therefore likely to
have any inferior brands thrust upon them.

We attach Chemists reports on Wakefields and Prices
oils.
