X819 HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to B.Y. c. to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}4/H5.3.23. re. 20-HP. Car and Hot Floor Boards Front Seats. We are rather concerned with the discomfort caused by the above, even during the present weather. Although it may be pointed out that this discomfort will be less when the car is complete fitted with proper mats etc., I find it is still objectionable under these conditions, even as compared with the 40/50. I bring this matter forward as I feel it is a feature which should be receiving our attention experimentally in order that we may be in a position to deal with the complaints which I feel sure we shall receive from customers using 20-HP. cars during the coming summer weather. Will BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} please impress upon the Coachbuilding Department the importance of fixing suitable ventilation to scuttle etc. MADE AT CROXLEY EP.{G.
