V2894 HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} / EFG. } FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} [strikethrough]C-in-C Bl. WOR{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}[strikethrough] R2/M20.10.27. BATTERY IGNITION - TUNGSTEN POINTS. Y8692 I do not know whether these have yet been made standard, and I cannot understand why we have not received a report on the behaviour of the scrubbing points that we have sent you, which is so suitable for standardisation. This has been hanging on from month to month until I am sure it is high time WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} looked into it, and transferred the work to another dept. The pieces requisitioned on our drawings LeC. 2460/1. dated 15/17. Sept. 1927. could have been made in the same number of hours as they appear to have taken months. This job has never moved at a speed of more than 10% of what it should have done: I cannot permit it to go on. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
