Lidsey}5/KT.2.II.3I the présent position is this. Chassis II9-MG: Fitted I set of the sliding joint type (Work effected two weeks ago), now awaiting owner to collect car, this car does very long journeys at high speeds. Chassis 4-LC : Fitted I set of the sliding joint type ( Work effected 20.I0.3I) car in owners hands and owner driven. This customer will give us information concerning these manifolds. ( This car does long journeys at high speeds ). Car has already covered I.000 Kms. and manifolds are OK. so far. Chassis 75-HC: Fitted one set of the malleable iron type of manifolds. This car also does very long journeys at high speeds. Paris to Budapest etc... Driver will report to us if manifolds are satisfactory. We have not had an opportunity of fitting any of the 20 HP. manifolds to cars that we know to do considerable running. We are expecting two 20 HP. cars at Sèvres in a few days time to which we could fit experimental manifolds. We have had several 20 HP? cars in our Shops during the last two months but they could not be considered the ones to which experimental manifolds could be fitted, they were cars that are not often used on long journeys at high speeds. We will report to you again in about three weeks time. (LID{A. J. Lidsey}) Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/Va. VA 2 | ||
