Re: 40/50 HP. Chassis.

X.6046. Auto Charge Control Switch. Sec.8170.

Will you please put in hand three distribution boards complete with cutouts and automatic charge control switches to our Part List D.72294.

We already have several distribution boards already fitted up with a green lamp scheme, and these are in EFC's possession, and should be used to produce the three new ones mentioned above. You will notice our Part List is divided into separate sections:-

Sheet 1&2 Comprises the Cutout Unit.
" 3 " the Auto Charge Control Switch.
" 4&5 " the remainder of the Distribution board.

It is therefore only necessary for you to order the parts called for on Sheet 3, and a few parts on Sheet 5 commencing at D.72287, and then dismantle the green lamp unit from three existing distribution boards and fit in its place the auto charge control switch.

Blueprints of the new parts are as follows:-

D.72283 Armature.
D.72284 Contact Holder.
D.72285 Magnet Yoke.
D.72286 Washer, Resistance Coil.
D.72287 Connection.
D.72288 Connection, Insulation.
D.72289 Connection.
D.72290 Connection, Insulation.
D.72291 Shunt Pole.
D.72308 Terminal Stud.
D.72292 Coils for Auto Charge Control Switch.
D.72293 Assembly of Auto Charge Control Unit.
D.72294 LOP. of Arrgt. Distribution Board Cutout and Auto Charge Control Switch.

We have not issued, for the time being, D.72305 and D.72306 - Diagram of Connections, this is waiting until we get the chassis wiring settled.

Will you please hand these over to EFC. for bench test, and we are preparing the necessary instructions to enable them to be fitted to a car.
