BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to BJ. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /7070 E2/12.9.28. EAC.10. INDUCTION PIPES. X.7230 X.7070 X.8050 We send you herewith drgs. LeCs. 2591/2 dealing with the above. The former shews the alterations required to the cyl. head for an exhaust heated jacket on the induction pipe, while the latter gives particulars of the water heated scheme. What we desire to do is to alter the cyl. head to LeC.2591 but rig up the actual experimental chassis itself to LeC.2592. Should the water heating be found insufficient it will always be possible to revert to exhaust heating if the cyl. head has been made with the necessary features on it. We have in hand schemes for the controls. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
