Dear Capt. Briggs,

When the Friction Control Anchorage is fitted to the engine at Felixstowe, I wish to go down there myself and see some of the tests. Can you please arrange for the necessary passes to be sent to me here.

Could you also obtain for us a report on I.L.O. Aero Engine Oil made from by Dick & Co., we understand from the tests that have been made at Martlesham Heath and Farnboro' the report No. is E.126 of Oct. 9th.

Could you also obtain for us the report on the tests on "Eagle" "G" engine so far as they have gone.

We have received the Salmson engine and are making arrangements to put it on the test bench. Could you also supply us with any Instructions Book or any information as regards this engine also the HP. at certain revs. what is the normal and maximum revs. and what is supposed to be the consumption. Will you also let me know what type of Connecting Rods is in this engine.

Yours faithfully.
