To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} elec. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}3/ST.24.10.40. On the Bentley V the starter switch is mounted so as to overhang the side of the frame and the main cable from the battery enters the base from underneath. This leaves about 6 inches of cable unsupported and, at the same time looks slovenly. It would be a better job if the cable were to enter the base at the back end, in a similar manner to the starter cable at the front end. This would allow the battery cable to be taken along the frame, right into the switch. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs} | ||
