Mr. Ellis states that it is necessary before we can standardise the above to have a condenser folding machine. Will you please let us know whether you intend to get such a machine or whether you will make arrangements to buy these out. Mr. Ellis says he believes the makers of the paper could not do this.

With reference to the above, I do not agree that it is necessary to purchase a folding machine before we can standardise 6 volt coils. If the condenser has more leaves than the present one it is only necessary to obtain more help to turn out the required number. I will endeavour to buy these folds outside, but, as you are aware, the folds we have bought in the past have not been very satisfactory.

Will you kindly let me have a sample of the folds now in use, so that I may make enquiries.
