My dear Mr. Wormald.

Many thanks for your letter re steels and markets for steels.

Naturally I am in agreement and understood that I had written to say so. We must be businesslike and although we want the best for its particular purpose and in important places the very best is none too good, we want to get that best for the least money.

One would very much regret to put the beautiful and costly work on materials which are not quite good enough for their job, but I think we can safely leave this to our production engineer - Mr. Bailey and Mr. Hall to watch for us.
