Dear Ward, We have been making a determined attempt to solve the problem of scuttle shake on the coupe. We have been using 12.B.V. for our experiments and after a great deal of work we believe we have achieved a certain measure of success. In order to complete the story of the work that has been done on the subject, we should like as many details as possible of the modifications that you made stiffening up the scuttle whilst you had this car. We expect that you have some photographs of the stiffening which you put in the scuttle. I think that you should pay a visit to Derby as soon as you can to see the Experiments which we have made, so that you can take advantage of the results in any coupe bodies which you may build. - Continued - | ||
