INTERIOR HEATERS.

Hn{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}8/I/19.5.32.

We have been in communication with Clayton Dewandre re. interior heaters for private cars, and we have today received a sample set of equipment. It looks quite a promising job and we will let you know how it works as soon as we have been able to test it out on a car. We talked a little with DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} about heaters when he was here; he did not see quite where it would be at all possible to mount a heater conveniently in any of our present stock type of bodies, apparently nearly every cubic inch is already doing more useful work. The Clayton Dewandre heater unit is much smaller than the type we showed you previously, it is about 8" in diameter and 3" thick, and to work at its best advantage it must all be exposed in the rear of the car.
