Devereux has asked us to let him have some big wheels and tyres for his Bentley. You will see from the attached note that we have asked the O.O. to supply a set of wheels to Kingsbury. When they arrive we should be glad if you would get into touch with Mr. Devereux and fit them to his car. You may wonder why we are not letting him have the experimental wheels that Cholmondeley has been running. The answer is that these wheels have done a lot of skid pan work, and we do not think that they are likely to be reliable.

We are asking the Repair Dept. to supply a short pendulum lever at the same time, which should be fitted to keep the steering reasonably light.
