Dear Sirs:

The General Manager desires me to acknowledge your letter to him of the 8th instant, regarding the test for material suitability for the manufacture of engine timing gears from Fabroil A.{Mr Adams} material sent to us.

This is just a note to advise you that the samples have been received, and tests are being conducted along the lines set out in your letter.

We will communicate the results of our tests to you as soon as they have been completed.
