X.3725 RE WHEELS FITTED WITH DEMOUNTABLE RIMS. X 3895 X 4050

We are very anxious to fit Dunlop wheels which have demountable rims to our cars as soon as possible. There are several reliable demountable rims but with them it is necessary to use the straight sided or wired-on tyre.

We should be greatly obliged if you would write to Messrs. Dunlop and the Michelin Co. and ask them when they will be in a position to supply straight sided or wired-on tyres. The Dunlop people are at present advertising such tyres.

You might also write to the Goodyear tyre Co. and see what arrangements they are making with regard to supplying straight sided tyres.

The straight sided tyres are being standardised on practically all the American cars so that there must be arrangements being made whereby replacements can be obtained in England. For instance, the American R-R chassis will be fitted as standard with rims which are only suitable for straight sided tyres. We anticipate that a number of these cars will come over here so that the necessary spares must be available.
