Report on Progress of Myth Body
& Chassis Framework, also B.V.
Drawings by Park Ward 12.7.41.

The final assembly of the frame by spot welding has not yet been commenced as it will be necessary for a pincer type spot welder to be used for the assembly and their machine which was burnt out during the fire, is away being repaired, it will be 6 weeks before the work can be commenced.

The top portion of the front pan is made, also some of the smaller parts for this are now being made. Mr. Ward estimates that it will be a fortnight before they can start on wood formers for the major portion of the body, due to the amount of work which they have in mind for aircraft.

B.V.

The method of dealing with the jigging and drawings for this job was discussed with Mr. Ward, who agrees that our recommended method for dealing with the matter would be satisfactory and that work would be carried out on these lines.

A certain amount of work has already been done on the layout, but is at present held up due to pressure of work on aircraft.
