COST OF BOUGHT OUT CHASSIS PARTS

The investigation for the reduction of costs of fabricated parts in conjunction with outside suppliers, is being considered almost entirely for Bentley III. This is because in nearly every case complete testing is required.

Early results showed that it was not possible to buy accurate frames at an economical price if we did not release 1,000. Prices for all parts are therefore being considered for 500 and 1,000 chassis.

VALVES.

Valves of which costs have been examined are Wraith Valves which were intended to be used for Bentley III. However, a modification has now been necessary to the size of the Valves and we are therefore having to obtain new samples, but we do not think this will effect the cost.
