In regard to governors, they say the pneumatic governor is very satisfactory and rather sensitive to its setting at slow speeds.

For long distances luxury coach transport, the Diesel engine is not attractive, because of the Diesel knock, the petrol engine is preferred for silence.

We hear that Perkins are in trouble with crankshaft journals.

A.E.C. have bought a G.M. Diesel, and are prepared to do some experiments in the way of nozzles and injector pumps.
