To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL. X8800 EFCl/T9.5.28. You may know that Mr. Royce has been very anxious that we should use the minimum capacity side lamp bulb. Accordingly we have suggested to Sales and they have agreed to make standard 12/14 V.{VIENNA} 6 watt .5 ampere BASLO. G.E.C. Cat.No.S.7168 (side lamp bulb) In the past we have supplied you with a number of 9 watt .75 ampere lamps which are G.E.C. Cat.No.S.7172 and are not of the BAS type. I am aware that you have sometimes asked for higher c.p. side lamps and do not see that there is any objection to these on the majority of our cars. We should now, however, be careful that any car which goes to Mr. Royce is fitted with the first mentioned bulb in the side lamps. We are getting in a stock of these and suggest we should change them on any cars on which you think it expedient to do so. EFC. | ||
