C O P Y. DAGLINGWORTH MANOR, CIRENCESTER. 6th. September 1924. Cirencester 46. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, Chassis No.33-TG. Mr. Trayner will report to you on the tests made. I should like to add that as a result of these I instructed my driver, when he took Mr. Trayner back to Gloucester, not to come up Birdlip but to use Crickley Hill which you doubtless know is the easier gradient used by heavy traffic. Notwithstanding this, the water was boiling when the car reached the top, although not badly enough to make it necessary to stop. I wait your advice. Yours truly, (Signed) P. Herbert Scrutton.
