The following work is required as soon as possible. We will send the car into the shop directly the parts are ready. (1) FB.3675 and 6. Strengthened yoke pieces and needle roller pivots with zero castor. (2) FB.2980. Cast torque arms to replace pressings. (3) SCD.699. Diagonal stays for lower triangle levers. (4) New silentbloc bushes (to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFW) in top yoke bearings and lower triangle levers. (5) Records of front damper characteristics by W.Bell. Dampers to be replaced without any alteration to setting. (6) Examine all cast steel front suspension parts for cracks. (7) Shot blast and cadmium plate front springs. Not to be pickled before plating. (8) Investigate possibility of increasing clearance where front springs foul pan. (9) Attend to jumping out of second gear. Second gear syncro-mesh ineffective at times. (10) Long centrifugal clutch and modified flywheel drilling to suit to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC{N. R. Chandler}'s instructions, Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}510 and 511. (11) Make and fit new centre tube to silencer in thicker gauge material to replace existing tube which has burnt out. (12) Fit "General" bye-pass filter to engine to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl{Len H. Swindell}'s instructions, in place of A.C. filter. (13) Retard valve timing ½ tooth to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl{Len H. Swindell}'s instructions. (14) LCD.219 Thermostat casing and fan support bracket LB.3774 if ready.
