Bailey - Chief Engineer} RECEIVED NOV 29 1926 X8796 Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 2/NJ29.11.26. Watford Magneto - High Tension Pick-up. The defective high tension pick-up sent me with yours EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 1/T19.11.26, together with your assistant's report ref.- WB. {Mr Brazier / Mr Bell} 112, were duly forwarded to North & Sons and we are now in receipt of their reply, as follows:- "In reply to your letter of the 19th inst., we "beg to say that we are sending you today an ebonite "pick-up in which the tube for the brush guide "completely surrounds the brush and the carbon brush "itself has a groove which will give it greater "freedom in the guide. "We think you will find that this will altogether "eliminate the remotest possibility of the brush "sticking." Immediately the ebonite pick-up above referred to comes to hand, it will be sent to you (EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} ) and I would suggest that same be submitted by you to By. {R.W.
