44651 To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG1 9.9.24 'BRAMMER' FAN BELT. Will you please order for us 6 Brammer Fan Belts. A standardisation sheet is going round for this type of fan belt. We recommend, when it has been agreed to, that we should not change over entirely to the Brammer belt but should fit perhaps 50% Brammer and 50% Whittle until we have obtained experience in service with these belts. We are returning to you one Brammer fan belt which has run approximately 7,000 miles. It has not failed but we should like it to be returned to the makers for them to examine.
