Dear Sirs,

We have been accustomed to mixing Whitmore's "O" Hypoid Axle Compound with Price's Amber "A" Gear oil for use in our car gearboxes when undergoing their first dynamometer test; we find by doing this that we are enabled to get a better finish on the gear teeth faces than if we use Amber "A" oil alone; the mixture we use is 50% of each.

We should be greatly obliged if you could inform us if it is possible to use your Gearease No.1. oil in a similar manner without risk of running into trouble.

Yours faithfully,

For Rolls-Royce Ltd.
