RE AUTOVAC SCHEME.

I have just received from Monier Grandjean Minguet a letter, pointing out that they have patented a scheme which apparently consists in a special nipple, by which they claim to double the height of the vacuum on the Autovac system when this is at a minimum under running conditions.

I gather from their remarks that the scheme in question would result in giving a reasonable vacuum when the car was running slowly on a steep hill.

I am not, of course, accepting their assurances on their face value, but if R, is at all interested in Autovac systems at the moment, I possibly ought to obtain some further information. Kindly let me have any information you have at your disposal.
