East Works,
Adderley Park,
Birmingham 8.

For the attention of Mr. Skinner.

Dear Sirs,

I have despatched to you to-day the three pump bodies you sent for treatment. These bodies are not to the drawing we sent you, though for the present it will be possible to use them.

In our drawing the delivery and suction pipe unions were in the same line as the magnet pots and would have enabled the pipe work to be carried out more neatly and take up less room. I have accordingly sent you a finished body complete from a pump you supplied to us for a previous scheme, and would have done so in the first place if I had realised you were not making any alterations.

However, it may still be of some use to you in speeding up the first delivery of one of the new type pumps.

Thank you also for the 50 brass valves which arrived to-day.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
