From the drawings of the springs and layout of the pump, calculate the pressure at which the respective valves lift.

Will you issue summary report with the necessary figures of these tests as soon as possible.

Following the above, continue with endurance of 10 hours full throttle and 10 hours ½ load alternately up to 50 hours total.

Running to be carried out at 100°C inlet oil temperature 30 lbs/sq.in. press. and on Ethyl.

B.24.Unit.

This will be the next unit on test having new main and big end bearings otherwise as last run on the bed.

Main bearings in die cast AC.6.

Big end bearings in pot cast AC.6.

After running in 1 hour endurance at full throttle and 1 hour at ½ load to be carried out and at the same time conditions as B.17 unit. When 2 hours run is completed return to shop for inspection.
