1124. W/S - AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}4/JH.24.5.39. In reply to your memo. AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson}8/BK.{A. Birkett - Commercial Manager}18.5.39. we rather think that the process you are referring to is known as 'Aluminising'. If this is the case, it has been used on our standard Bentley cars for the last 12 months, on the downtake pipe and front and centre expansion boxes. If however the process you speak of is in anyway different to the treatment we are using, perhaps you will make further enquiries and let me know. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G.
