20/25 HP. CRANKSHAFT BALANCE WEIGHTS.

With reference to Lec.2963, it seems to us highly undesirable that the studs should be able to unscrew even to the extent of 1/10th of an inch. A simple method of overcoming this difficulty appears to make the retaining nut castellated and lock it to the balance weight by means of the existing tab washer and to the stud by means of a split pin.

We suggest that the scheme should be detailed in this manner unless you feel it necessary to take the matter up with W.W.
