Would the Experimental Department make tests with a view to determining this point. It is possible that the engine vibration effects obtained take place at a higher speed with an engine mounted on the test tackle than those obtained with an engine in the 'plane. It may therefore be desirable to observe the behaviour of the starter motor mounting under both conditions of running. P. SR Pottinger | ||
