For the attention of Mr. Matthews. Dear Sirs, We beg to confirm our conversation of this morning regarding an inspection of the A.C.9. bearings which we have had in use on our 100 x 120 4-cylinder petrol engine. We will have the respective halves returned by Messrs. Wellworthy Ltd., and High Duty Alloys, so that they will be available for your inspection on Wednesday. Along with our letter of the 9th inst., we enclosed a blueprint showing the load conditions for the centre main bearing. We regret that an incorrect print was sent to you. This print was made from a loose tracing, and we should be glad if you would scrap this and substitute the one which we are now enclosing, which is made from our file records. Yours faithfully, DENNIS BROTHERS LIMITED. Enc: ANNUAL HOLIDAYS, 1938. These Works and Offices will be closed from 6 p.m. on Friday, July 29th, until Monday, August 8th.
