Mr/CFF. Mr/Par Mr/Ever. Mr/Gran. Mr/Plat. Mr/Strth. Mr/Ast. Mr/Sih. Mr/Med. Mr/TBD Mr/RO.{C. C. Rose - Export Manager} Mr/Nott. 6144 dml/R.25.11.37. Further to AMB/R.5.11.37., it has now been decided that there is not sufficient cost reduction between B.III specification and B.50 specification to justify delay-ing the introduction of the B.50. Therefore, B.50 specification will be identical with B.III, with the exception of the iron brake drums and the possible deletion of the servo. The big alteration in the programme is that we are going to use the present Wraith engine as the power unit for the B.50. There will be a meeting at 8.30.p.m. in the Conference Room on Tuesday, the 30th instant, and we shall be glad if everyone will have their cost figures at this meeting for consideration. Obviously, the present B.III specification will be amenable to material alterations if these are considered desirable on B.50. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
