Contd. -2- R1/G22.8.19. use these on standard cars (of which the makers do not recommend a speciak oil) in the order given. I have written on this subject to some length as I consider the matter is of the utmost importance for the reputation of the good wearing qualities of our car, and feel sure that some of the oil that owners are likely to receive from garages may cause excessive wear of both piston, piston rings and plain bearings about the engine.
