To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} 401 DAB/M7.10.25. RAPSON TYRES AND STEERING WOBBLES. X.1238 X.457 X.401 We know that you do not like Rapson tyres, and that you have found them to be considerably out of balance and possibly out of truth. Do you say however that they are peculiarly bad for steering wobbles apart from these two points? Some Rapson tyres are very thick, and the damping might neutralise the out of balance. These remarks apply especially to Rapson balloon tyres. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Sharp, mam; sharp & very 'pointed'. Any answer of this (especially an Ha answer) would be 'loaded'. | ||
