RECEIVED 2 32 FEB Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/HEW. X6120. BY/RD3/W.3-2-32. Re :- "Japan III" Ignition Distributor. We have instructed to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}, the "Japan" Ignition Distributor, to L.O.P. D.53064. This has been arranged for 70/30 make and break period, and we are starting the rotor blade and contact points off in stainless steel, which is our present standard material. If, however, the experiments on the present standard distributor having brass and nickel pieces, have proceeded far enough for you to say that this is definitely an improvement, we will alter these parts on "Japan". We have made the contact finger definitely interchangeable with the Delco fingers, so that if necessary Delco fingers can be run for testing purposes. BY/RD. | ||
