Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.24/KW. 17th July, 1936. Messrs. Borg & Beck Ltd., Tachbrook Road, Leamington Spa. Dear Sirs, Balance Weights on 13½" Driven Plates. In your letter of April 30th, ref. TS/HTB/MBL. you undertook to arrange for all balance weights on the 13½" plates to extend the full width of the T-slots and to be a tight fit. We find on examination of some of the plates, that you have not been keeping to this undertaking, and that either the weights were loose when the plates were received from you, or have worked loose after very little running. We need not emphasize that if the weights are loose there is a big probability that they will eventually come off. We trust you will give this matter your attention. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
