CYLINDER BORE WEAR.

Will you please endeavour to obtain the following information on cylinder bore wear as and when opportunity occurs, over the next few weeks.

1. 3.B.50's bore wear at 30,000 or over.
2. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s bore wear at 20,000 miles or over.
3. Figures off 1.B.50.
4. Figures off 1.R.1.
5. Figures for the Studebaker.
6. Figures off the Austin.
7. We should like the Vauxhall to be re-measured at about 30,000 miles.
8. We should like the Morris to be re-measured at about 22,000 miles.
9. We should also like Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} to find out whether Walker has a copy of the original diagram showing the P.II. extra cylinder lubrication. This diagram is incorporated in the P.II. Instruction Book.
10. I also want a photograph of the head used on the rig engine for seeing oil splashed up the bores, and also of the ring gauge which we used for measuring radial pressures of the ring.
11. Lp{Mr Lappin}'s bore wear.
12. The Buick bore wear.

These two latter cars could be dealt with by Dodd when opportunity occurs.

We should also like figures for any other cars he has running, even if it means sending somebody down to obtain them when the car is stripped.
