Letter from A.T. Speedometer Co. Ltd. regarding the cause of a waving speedometer needle due to faulty inner drive cables.

-2- inner strands of the inner drive were allowed to spring back a little and when, after running for a little time on the car gradually become worse, therefore, instead of being a solid cable became a spring instead giving you a very waving needle. When the above cables are in your possession we shall be glad if you will kindly return to us the faulty cables at present fitted so that we can investigate further the causes of this trouble.
