EAC.7 BATTERY IN FRAME.

Herewith we send N. scheme 2266/7/8, view of the mounting of the battery in the frame.
We have shewn a Dagenite battery in two parts, three cells moulded together. If we cannot obtain similar unit moulded batteries from Exide it may be necessary to go over the scheme again to suit whatever the Exide can supply.
We should like you to remark on the battery box as a whole, and if necessary obtain the views of the makers. Are the terminals shewn of the latest type that you have found. It will be seen that we propose to make the junction box for connecting the dynamo wires on the frame, and the battery leads are disconnected by removing the clamp terminals.
In this case, and also in the 20 HP., it is desired to fit the centre stay to lie horizontally, and so remove the possibility of it taking any loads other than inertia loads.
