Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} EFC X3565 Y3897 COPY. BY13Z/P23.4.20. X.3565. CHASSIS - INSTRUMENT BOARD RE THERMOMETER. The Cambridge & Paul Instrument Company have supplied us with a sample thermometer, which, although has the correct length of tube, has been finished in a different manner as regards the instrument itself. You will notice that there is no deep flange on the instrument, but only a narrow one has been provided evidently with the object of the instrument being held by means of a long flange. We would like to know whether this interests you or not. We are not, of course, thinking of adopting it, but would like to have your views on the matter before writing to the Cambridge & Paul Instrument Company. Please return sample with your remarks.
