You will remember that on Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car we fitted a Marles Weller steering gear. We want to have one of these gears available for the Bentley as we are bound to get criticisms of road shocks. We should like to treat the gear in exactly the same way as we did on Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car, - i.e. put our own column and central tube on their box.

We hand you herewith their drawing GA.2450.

Will you please let us know :-

(1) If it is O.K. for our controls.

(2) If it will foul anything where the Bentley steering is fitted.

(3) The length required from the column centre line to the face of the bearing marked 'B' on the print.

If there is any other particular of the steering which you would like modifying in order to facilitate fitting, will you please say.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}
