Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 12th inst with further reference to Air Filters and are pleased to note that so far as your present experiments have progressed the air filter under test has given encouraging results.

Regarding the one now required for S.U. Carburetter with 1 7/8" dia. intake boss, we would suggest the same size of air filter as previously submitted, i.e. our AF3N size, but with flange to fit over 1 7/8" dia intake, and to assist you in carrying out your experiments we are forwarding under separate cover one filter which we trust will meet your requirements.

With reference to the price of these Air Filters, if you would indicate approximately the quantities likely to be required we will quote you a firm price for same on hearing further from you.

Yours faithfully
p.p.Frank Smith & Co.(Elland) Ltd.
