Dear Sirs,

We have now received the six pistons of your own design fitted with your patent piston rings and made suitable for our 40/50 engine.

As we pointed out to your Mr. Allen, our pistons run out of the cylinder bore and it will not be possible to use the scraper ring which is fitted to the bottom of these pistons.

We should like to hear from you whether you wish us to run the pistons, we have received, without the scraper ring, or whether you will supply a further set of pistons.

Yours faithfully,
