Engine valve bounce at specific revs and poor fuel consumption issues.

We should like to know the revs. at which the valves bounce. If this is 4,500, we have arrived at rather a satisfactory compromise, as this will prevent the engine being over-revved with a standard axle ratio.

The consumption seems very bad and we are sending out some more needles to you on which we should like your opinion.
