CONFERENCE AGENDA.

We should like to discuss details of the altered programme, if this has been decided upon by the Administration:-

(1) Introduction of the Wraith.
(2) " " " B.III.
(3) " " " B.50.

We should like to know whether a cost analysis of B.50 body indicates that it can be produced at the figure decided upon, viz., £150. If this is not so, we shall have to alter our target of the price at which the chassis will have to be made.

Possibly both these queries would be better raised in one of our less public discussions.

Other Points.

(1) Presumably we ought to inform Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} as to the results of our Conference on the 24/5/38 regarding the future of the P.III.

(2) Presumably, also, we ought to discuss Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}'s report on the Wraith.

(3) In view of the fact that free-of-charge work is now costing twice as much as development, we should like some information as to how to reduce the cost of free-of-charge work, and whether there is any indication of this being brought about.

(4) We should like to emphasise the necessity of continuity of programme with regard to outside suppliers. It is impossible to get satisfactory quotations for 'bought out' parts if we place an order and then cancel half of it. We should like to know the true position with regard to the last half of 'M' Series. At the present moment we have been officially told that material is not to be purchased, and, unofficially that orders are not to be cancelled.
