Water Pump Inlet to Cylinders.

There have been several instances when the cylinder block has been cracked at the positions shown in the sketch, by the two studs which are screwed in to hold the inlet flange for the water pump.

The holes come rather close to the edge and in screwing the studs into position the metal has cracked. This joint is also a source of water leaks at the bottom, between the joint faces. The design should be altered so that a counter-sunk screw could be inserted at the bottom as shown.
