X 30146 RE SPECIFICATIONS FOR TESTING DYNAMOS & CUT-OUTS. X 1624

Referring to your memo EFC1/S.14.5.20. I find that owing to some confusion the specifications were not supplied to Messrs Lucas at the time I thought they were.

As a matter of fact, I instructed that Mr.Brock was not to have the specifications, and that all should be sent to Messrs Lucas with a letter to the effect that we had satisfied ourselves that these requirements as laid out in the specifications could be met by reasonably good work, and that we therefore expect them to send no more dynamos and cut-outs until they conform with the specifications.

I have only just discovered this owing to a further point arising in the Works, and have at once written to Messrs Lucas. and supplied copies of the specifications referred to.
