Complaint. | Front suspension. | Rear suspension.

Snatchy steering. Bumping in front. | Front springs or shock dampers weak. (Probably the latter) |

Harsh riding in front only. | Shock dampers too tight. Springs rusty. |

Harsh riding generally. | Rusty springs. Shock dampers too tight. Hard tyres. | Rusty springs. Reduce shock damper setting. Hard tyres.

Bonnet rattle in passing over car tracks or 'setts'. | Front shock dampers tight. Hard tyres. |

Chunking and dancing of rear axle. | | Too weak rear springs. Not enough weight over rear axle. Shock dampers set too light or disconnected. Hard tyres.

Rear rides well when sitting forward but throws when leaning back. | | Examine cushions and seat backs.

Steering selectiveness poor. Rolling on corners. Bad high speed control. | | Too weak rear springs. Insufficient rear damping. Tyre pressure too low.

Sea sickness. Large amplitude slow oscillations at the rear. | | Too weak rear springs. Insufficient rear damping.

Transmission knock when letting 20 HP. clutch in. | | Spring clips loose.
