RR 238 (150 BKS.) (DB{Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 461-8-12-24) MP 306975 X5790 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: E.7.C. Order No.: WC93 Customer's No. X5790 X5792 Magneto for R.R. 20HP chassis. In view of the unsatisfactory performance of the Watford RO{C. C. Rose - Export Manager}1 magneto we have formulated a general specification of electrical performance of magnetos for the 20HP chassis. (see under X 5790) We consider that a magneto satisfying our requirements as set out in this specification will be quite OK for the 20HP engine. This magneto could be manufactured much cheaper if it were sleeveless, a small inductor machine would probably be the right thing. References in this connection, R5/M/26-2-27, R1/M/12-3-27 and R1/M/15-4-27. Signed: H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
