Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter ref. NAT/MD of the 16th June.

We shall be ready for fitting the new wings on Friday of next week, the 25th inst.

We do not know what work has been done on lightening the running boards which have been criticised, but we have written to Mr. Evernden asking him if it is possible to have the improved running boards fitted at the same time as the new wings.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
